Terms & Conditions

Dixie Restoration Depot is committed to providing secure and wide ranging options for ordering products on-line as well as off-line. The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Dixie Restoration Depot, regardless of the medium used to place the order.

Aftermarket Parts

Dixie Restoration Depot does not guarantee that any of its aftermarket parts are street legal in all areas. Always check your local ordinances before replacing an OEM part with an aftermarket part. Neither Dixie Restoration Depot nor its suppliers can be held liable for expenses incurred as a result of installing a part that is not street legal.

Placing An Order

When placing an order, please provide your first and last name, customer account number, address, daytime phone number, credit card number, expiration date and part numbers so that we may process your order as quickly as possible. All charges are quoted in U.S. Dollars. Prices and product offerings are subject to change without notice. Connecticut orders are subject to 6.35% state sales tax. Orders that contain items that are in stock will be shipped on the same day that the order is placed, provided that the order is received by 2pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.

Online Orders: Internet orders are processed at 8am and 2pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Please keep this in mind when ordering online. We will make every effort to ship your order on the same day unless a part is not in stock. Please see the Back Orders section for more details.

Credit Card Orders: All credit card orders over $200.00 must be shipped to an address authorized by the bank that issued the credit card. To authorize an address, call the phone number listed on the back of your credit card. Dixie Restoration Depot will not ship any order over $200.00 to an unauthorized address.

Cash On Delivery (COD) Orders: All COD orders will be charged an additional $10.50 fee. All COD orders must be paid with a certified check or money order. UPS will not accept cash for any COD. Personal checks will not be accepted. All orders over $1000.00 must be prepaid and cannot be shipped COD. Customers will be responsible for shipping charges on COD shipments that are refused or unclaimed. Dixie Restoration Depot will not ship any order until all unpaid balances are paid in full. COD orders cannot be sent overnight.

Mail Orders: Mail orders paid for with a personal check will be held for two weeks or until the check clears. Please be sure to fill in your order blank completely so that we may process your order as quickly as possible. If you have any questions about filling out the form, please call 877-243-4943.

International Orders: All international orders must be prepaid by credit card, certified check/money order or PayPal ( in U.S. Dollars. International COD's will not be accepted. When using a credit card, the order must be shipped to an address authorized by the bank that issued the credit card. To authorize an address, call the phone number listed on the back of your credit card. Please call for shipping rates to destinations outside of the U.S. Dixie Restoration Depot ships with several different carriers in order to meet your shipping needs. Customers are responsible for any and all importing duties and/or fees.

Gift Certificates: Orders paid for with a gift certificate are subject to the same terms and conditions as orders paid for with any other payment method. When redeeming a gift certificate, please provide the gift certificate number. Gift certificates are not transferrable, cannot be redeemed online and must be redeemed at the time the order is placed. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of credit. Returned parts that were paid for with a gift certificate are only eligible for store credit (no cash refunds). When You Receive Your Order...

Please open the box immediately. Any damage or discrepancy must be reported to us within 10 days of receipt. Claims reported more than 10 days after delivery will not be acknowledged.


Back Orders

Dixie Restoration Depot does its best to provide same day shipping. Occasionally, a popular part may not be ready for immediate delivery. Should this occur, parts will be back ordered and shipped as soon as possible. Your patience is greatly appreciated and we regret any inconvenience this may cause. If you are unsure of the status of an order or backorder, please call 877-24-DIXIE (877-243-4943).



If you need to return a part(s), please call 877-24-DIXIE (877-243-4943) or 860-645-1917 to obtain a return authorization number. This number MUST be clearly marked on the outside of the package being returned. Packages without a return authorization number will be refused.

Returns MUST be received within 30 days of the original date you received the merchandise. Returns must also include a copy of the original invoice and a detailed note describing the reason for return. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Warranties are limited to the manufacturer's warranty. Installing any part on any car other than originally intended immediately voids any and all warranties. Books, videos, electrical parts and products damaged during installation cannot be returned.

Refunds are limited to unused items, in their orignal packaging, purchased from Dixie Restoration Depot only. Shipping and labor costs are NOT refundable.

Always open packages the day you receive them to check for any damage that may have occured during shipping. If parts were damaged during shipping, please save all packaging material and call 877-24-DIXIE (877-243-4943) or 860-645-1917 immediately!


Core Charges

Some products may require an additional refundable core charge because they are either reconditioned or remanufactured. The core charge is always indicated and will be added to the original order. Each core charge will be refunded when your old part is received, provided that it is in rebuildable condition. Dixie Restoration Depot will not pay for the shipping of any core. Any core charge not included with a mail, fax or internet order will be added automatically without notice. Remember that core charges are applied to each rebuilt item ordered (ie: 4 rebuilt calipers = 4 core charges). Core charges only apply to rebuilt or remanufactured products. You will not be charged a core for any new products.
